My soaps are made from high-quality natural oils such as olive oil, coconut oil, shea butter, sustainably sourced palm oil, and castor oil. Occasionally, I also use sweet almond oil, avocado oil, or babassu oil. Each recipe is carefully designed to provide gentle cleansing, retain moisture, and nourish the skin.

Yes, the soaps are suitable for most skin types. If you have special needs, you are welcome to contact me for advice or request a custom-made soap when possible.

No, I don’t use food coloring or synthetic dyes. The colors in my soaps come from natural sources such as clays, activated charcoal, and micas.

Micas are natural mineral pigments derived from a shiny stone called mica. They are finely ground into powder and sometimes blended with iron oxides or other minerals to create different shades. These are the same pigments used in natural makeup, such as eyeshadows and lip balms.

The micas I use are cosmetic-grade, high-quality, safe for the skin, and contain no animal-derived ingredients or plastic glitter. Beautiful, safe, and natural colors.

It may look like soap, but no – solid shampoo is not regular soap. Solid shampoo is made with gentle surfactant compounds specifically formulated for hair and scalp. They cleanse effectively while maintaining moisture and hair health, without leaving a soapy residue.
Regular soap (even natural, high-quality soap) is designed for body cleansing and is not suitable for hair.

My solid shampoo does not contain sulfates such as SLS or SLES – harsh foaming agents that can dry out the scalp or cause sensitivities.

Instead, I use mild, plant-based surfactants that are scalp- and hair-friendly. The shampoo cleanses thoroughly, lathers beautifully, and leaves the hair soft, clean, and balanced.

After being made, the soap goes through a curing process that takes 4–6 weeks, depending on the recipe and drying conditions. During this time, excess water molecules evaporate, making the soap harder, longer-lasting, and slower to wear down.

That’s why each soap has a recommended date after which it is best to use. It’s not an expiration date – on the contrary, it’s the point when the soap has “matured” and is at its very best.
